Nsanje SW complete JBF tourney Lower Shire line-up
Nsanje South West Constituency football and netball teams have completed the line-up for the Lower Shire Valley in the K100 million Joyce Banda Foundation (JBF) Inter-Constituency Tournament.
Nsanje South West played out a 1-1 draw against Nsanje Lalanje, but went on to win 4-3 on post-match penalties on Sunday.
It was a double dose of good news for Nsanje South West.They also excelled in netball, which they won 26-4 against Nsanje Lalanje.
In Chikhwawa, Chikhwawa Central beat Chikhwawa East 3-0 while in netball, Chikhwawa North thrashed Chikhwawa Central 23-1.
The tournament started in Mwanza and Neno districts where Mwanza Central Constituency and Neno South emerged the champions.
In netball, Mwanza Central and Neno South emerged winners.
The competition’s manager Wyson Sumaili said they were happy with the progress of the tournament.
